How I Work with You, Not Against You: My Do’s & Don'ts of Wedding Photography.

I wanted to discuss how I frame my approach to your wedding photographs.

Do’s

What can I do to help make the day:

  • I aim to be invisible during your ceremony, capturing every moment without being intrusive.

  • I avoid super posed photos, directing you to look your best without overly complicated poses.

  • I prioritize efficiency, ensuring I don't take up more of your time than necessary.

Don'ts

No demands:

  • I will never ask you to do something you don't want to do.

I don't like to interrupt:

  • During your ceremony, I strive to be discreet and unobtrusive, minimizing disruptions.

Super posed photos:

  • I avoid giving you difficult poses, focusing on capturing natural and authentic moments.

Takeing up all your time:

  • I prioritize efficiency, making sure not to extend your timeline unnecessarily.

My Photography DO’s

I want authentic relationships:

  • Connecting with you and your fiancé is crucial to our collaboration and the quality of our work together.

Curious about your preferences:

  • I am always interested in your likes and dislikes, understanding your vision for photography and your wedding day.

Interactive not disruptive:

  • I work with you, respecting your choices while offering suggestions, ideas, and maintaining awareness for great photographs.

More in-depth than interactive, not disruptive:

  • I make good decisions about creating amazing photos, suggesting optimal settings and helping you decide.

Now that you know I avoid interrupting and making demands, you have an idea of what is important to me for your photographic experience.

What I do and don't do may differ from other photographers, but it all adds up to something I believe to be quite unique.

Warmly,

Alexander
