Planning a bachelorette party? Here is your complete checklist!

Ready for your last bash as a bachelorette? Normally the most organized of your family or close besties is the one to hand the reins over to when planning your party. Although it may have been a while since they have planned a party or more likely hasn't ever planned a bachelorette party. If you are worried about this, then this checklist is perfect for you. And if the bride to be is doing the planning? Keep reading. You will need to break down the party planning process into what to do, and when. Plan it all out easily to avoid all the stress. And you won't have to worry when you should be having a blast of a party.

Initial conversations

Before you plan anything for the bride to be, make sure you check in with her. Talk to her about what type of party she would like, ask her preferences on locations and a timeline for the party. This is definitely a good time to bring up what she doesn't want to include. Perhaps she might want to skip the fireman with tear away pants. This is the time to ask those types of questions so you can plan accordingly. And the same can go for asking your besties the same questions. Obviously, the bride has the most to say but a little input from your friends celebrating with you goes a long way.

The next thing to do is to work through your wedding guest list and find who you want to invite to the special event. Do you want to invite your mom to the party? (Some people do). Pick who you feel closest to and perhaps anyone not in the wedding party, but they may be very dear to you. It's all up to the planner and the bride. Once you have decided all your invites, make sure to grab all their names, emails, and if possible, their phone numbers.

Here's what you need to do

Talk to the bride/those you invited

Create your guestlist

Find a destination

Talk through budgets for the bridesmaids

The next thing to accomplish is to get everyone excited for the party, send out your party invitations through email.

When you send out your emails, make sure you are open to budget adjustments and a rough time frame. Are you going all weekend or just one awesome night out? And remember to request RSVPs.

Coordinating your logistics:

Once you know who is coming, the next step for your crew is to book where you are going. Figure out the hotspots you are attending. Coordinate your costs with your vendors and reservations.

Here is what you need to do

Make hotel reservations or figure out who you are bunking with

Make reservations for the group for restaurants, lounges, or any establishment you choose.

Arrange transportation, (party bus, limousine, carpooling, or uber/lyft codes.)

Make sure everyone has transport to and from the destination.

Schedule all this 3 to 4 month in advance.

Now is the time to create those finishing touches that will be the envy of our Instagram followers.

Be detailed in what you need to get

Pick a theme and according decor/swag

Decide if everyone wants to pitch in for a group gift.

Now that you have a lot of the work already done it's time to go over the confirmations for your awesome party, make sure you have…

Final headcount

Confirm transportation and where you are crashing

Confirm entertainment

Confirm bride's timeline

Your shopping list of food, and of course booze

Do this about 2-3 weeks in advance

The last things to remember…

Now that you have the planning process figured out, be sure to prepare yourself for the day or weekend. If you are planning an all-out bash for a weekend in a destination city, make sure you get plenty of rest and water, if it's a weekend of camping and hiking, physically get yourself ready, go for a run to get yourself used to hiking. Whatever you have planned, make sure you are physically and mentally ready. That way you leave no room for anything but an awesome bachelorette party!
